Is this another “fear and greed” sentiment score?
No. The index only summarizes active operational incidents published by tracked vendors. It does not claim to measure emotion, markets or future risk.
Can an official status page be late?
Yes. Vendor-reported data is credible but not always early. The site labels that limitation explicitly. Independent early-warning signals may be added later, but never mixed in without attribution.
What happens when a source stops responding?
It becomes “unknown,” not “down.” We publish data coverage alongside the score and withhold the index below the minimum coverage threshold.
Do I need another monitoring dashboard?
Probably not. The paid product is being designed around targeted, low-noise alerts and a simple shared view—not a new operations suite.
